Leave It All Behind

Leave it all behind,
Leave the light and sky,
Enter the hollow and shadow,
   And wait for the dawn!
Wait for the calm
And weather the gale,
It won't last,
It won't stand,
Confronted as it is with you,
   as a giant
It will give you birth and
Sites that you thought
   you weren't ever meant
   to see!
